J-Ellie | Short Films in Concert

‘Jellie Junction, Short Films in Concert’, the event that I put on in collaboration with Jenny Shen; comprised a programme of animation, live action, and experimental short films by students from University of the Arts London, Royal College of Art, London Film Academy, MetFilm School, Maryland Institute College of Art and Big Rock, in collaboration with composers from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. To add to the dynamic, film scores were performed live on the night by a string quartet. This event marked the first time that all relevant institutions worked together, making it a truly exciting opportunity for all involved - ‘what a terrific initiative with a wonderful breadth and variety to both the film content and style as well as the musical response’, Jonathan Vaughan, Principle.
